Phones4U

Following the recent sale of Phones4U from The Caudwell Group of companies, there followed a period of business re organisation. This included moving a number of staff from one building to another.

As the IT applications were to remain in the original building a resilient high speed connection was required. In addition to a LES circuit Phones4U contacted POINT systems to obtain a resilient link.

Alternative technologies were considered before deciding on Micro Wave. An OS Spectra Full system was deployed providing a total throughput of 300MB.

Due to business demands, the system had to be sourced, implemented and tested in very short timescales. POINT systems met the business requirement fully.
