Princes were keen to explore the advantages of using the Terminal Services architecture to enable PC users to access their SAP applications.

With available resources committed to other projects and wanting to take advantage of outside expertise, we contracted with POINT systems to develop and implement a pilot system for a group of about 40 users at our Liverpool Head Office.

The pilot system was successful and demonstrated two key advantages:

• Extended PC life cycle thereby reducing capital costs
• Simplified PC architecture thereby reducing support overheads

We are now in the process of extending the system to some of our Regional offices.

In addition to implementing the Terminal Services project, POINT systems also supplied HP servers at very competitive prices.

We would have no hesitation in recommending POINT systems to other potential customers.
